POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Bayberry Spa Policy Notification
We appreciate that you’ve chosen us for your massage and skin care needs. To provide the best service possible to our clients, we have implemented the following policies:
Inappropriate Behavior Policy
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. Any inappropriate touch, insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited, we may also file a report with the local authorities.
Cancellation Policy
We require 24-hour notice for all appointment changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing 24 hour notice, we are often unable to fill that appointment time, but still have to pay our service providers. For this reason, there will be a 100% charge for the total of services being canceled. Missed appointments without notification will also be charged in full. We require a credit card number to hold all booking reservations so that appropriate fees may be charged if a late cancellation/no-show does occur.
We understand that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, a known infection, flu-like symptoms, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you reschedule your session to both avoid exacerbating your symptoms , as well as risking spread of illness. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. We will do our best to give advance notice if we are closing or need to reschedule due to bad weather and we ask you to do the same. Please do not risk your safety trying to make your appointment. Late cancellation due to inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation Policy for Booking Multiple Guest Packages
When booking packages for more than one guest or for packages that are $200+, a 20% ($25 minimum) deposit is required for each guest to hold the reservation. A 72 hour notice of cancellation is expected for a complete refund of the deposit. A 48 hour cancellation will result in forfeiture of the deposit but no additional fees. Less than 24 hour notice will result in a fee of 100% of the service value. Failure to cancel by the time of the appointment will result in a fee of 100% of the service price.
Late Arrival Policy
We request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time to fill out any required paperwork and complete the consultation with your therapist or esthetician. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so we cannot exceed that reserved time without making other appointments start late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in loss of time from your service so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. If a client arrives 15 min or more late for an appointment, the appointment will need to be rescheduled, and the client will be charged full price of the missed session.
